W Series – Jamie Chadwick titled, Alice Powell winner at Brands Hatch

If Alice Powell wins the W Series final at Brands Hatch, that's good Jamie chadwick who remains the great heroine of the day, with the 2019 title secured in the 100% female series.

Starting from pole, the driver of the lap Williams dominated the start of the race before seeing Alice Powell attempt an attack at Paddock Hill Bend on lap 8. Chadwick resisted for a while, but finally had to lose in Druids, Emma Kimilainen taking advantage in the process.

Jamie Chadwick, however, remained in 4th position until the end and on home soil, became the first W Series champion at the end of a race won by Alice Powell, her first victory of the year, ahead of Emma Kimilainen and Beitske Visser.

For the first time this year, Jamie Chadwick does not finish on the podium but pockets the $500 for this 000 crown. Note that the top 2019 in the championship are guaranteed a place on the grid for 12.
