Bryan Bouffier: “I don’t have much choice anymore”

Fourth at the start of the last special of the Tour de Corse, Bryan Bouffier made a mistake. Since its resounding success at Rally Monte-Carlo, the Frenchman and his co-driver Xavier Panseri no longer managed to finish on the podium in a round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. An evil which they intend to remedy this weekend. The protagonists of the IRC are meeting for the first time in Ukraine, to compete in the Prime Yalta Rally.

“Following my withdrawal from Corsica, I no longer have much of a choice: my priority can only be to score ?big points? in Ukraine, analyze the driver Peugeot France. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to do it: in Corsica, I was competitive. On an area that we are discovering, the important thing is, quite naturally, to be on the lookout for all the traps during reconnaissance.

After the first three meetings of the season, Bryan Bouffier occupies fifth place in the general classification, and is 14 points behind the leader, the Belgian Freddy Loix.
