ERC – Alexey Lukyanuk wins Rally Islas Canarias

Leader with more than 25″ ahead yesterday at the end of the first stage, Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) completed his work this Saturday by concluding the Rally Islas Canarias with a 57″2 lead over Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5), who took the advantage over Bruno Magalhaes (Skoda Fabia R5) during this second stage, 6″4 separating only the two drivers at the finish.

Le top 5 de l’épreuve est complété par Ivan Ares (Hyundai i20 R5), qui échoue à 11″8 du podium, et son compatriote Luis Monzon (Ford Fiesta R5), passé devant Pepe Lopez (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) in the final SS of the day.

The latter, however, wins the ranking ERC Junior U28 and precedes Cristian Garcia (Ford Fiesta R5), who took the advantage over Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia R5) in SS12. The French champion was penalized 10″ for a stolen start on SS9.

Bryan Bouffier (Ford Fiesta R5) and Marijan Griebel (Skoda Fabia R5) complete the top 10.
