ERC – Bryan Bouffier king of Poland

Leader last night with an already significant lead, Bryan Bouffier completed his triumph this Saturday on the roads of Rally Rzeszow in Poland, round counting for the European Rally Championship ERC.

Quadruple winner of the event before this 2017 edition, Bouffier remained in second place on the Polish asphalt in 2016, after having notably experienced an incredible end to the race twelve months ago, by being forced to plug a leak with chewing gum.

This year, the driver of the Ford Fiesta R5 experienced no serious warnings during the two days of racing, and finally won with a 38″ lead over Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5), winner last year. and double reigning European champion.

Marijan Griebel (Skoda Fabia R5) completes the podium at 55″6 ahead of Grzegorz Grzyb (Skoda Fabia R5) and Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia R5), fifth at 1'45", after losing time in SS7 this morning after going into a ditch. Championship leader Bruno Magalhaes takes ninth place overall. In the Junior U28 ranking, Griebel won ahead of Michel and José Antonio Suarez (Peugeot 208 T16 R5).

The day was marked this morning by the Nikolay Gryazin leaves the road (Skoda Fabia R5), then in contention for a podium, then by the retirement of Mads Ostberg (Ford Fiesta R5), victim of numerous mechanical problems on his mount.
