Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Ford Fiesta R5) is the new champion of theERC at the end of the Rally of the Acropolis which he won by taking the lead at the end of the sixth special against his rival for the title Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16) for a ten-second lead. The commissioners had to cut the event from its last three courses due to particularly bad conditions making the roads impassable.
Lambros Athanassoulous (Skoda Fabia R5) completes the provisional podium, failing only five seconds behind the Irishman. Jaromir Tarabus (Fabia S2000) and David Botka (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) complete the top five. Charles Martin (Peugeot) retired after leaving the road, trapped by the mud that is omnipresent on this rally.
