The mild weather disrupts the winter events planned for this month of February on the world and European stage. Last Monday, the organizers of the Rally of Sweden, second round of WRC, confirmed that the Scandinavian round would be cut by eight ES due to exceptionally mild weather conditions. L'ERC was also impacted, since Rally Liepāja in Latvia could not be organized on the dates initially planned (February 5-7). ERC organizers said on Wednesday that the Baltic event will finally be held on land from September 16 to 18. The Liepāja will thus be placed in the penultimate event of the season, preceding the Cyprus Rally. The 2016 ERC season will begin with the Canary Islands Rally scheduled for March 11-13.
