ERC – Ralfs Sirmacis leads the Acropolis

Ralfs Sirmacis makes a surprising debut with his new car, the Skoda Fabia R5, as he takes the lead in the Rally of the Acropolis at the end of the first stage. The leader had a lead of 20 seconds before the last muddy course where his direct rival Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5) gained more than 12 seconds to come back to eight seconds behind the leader.

Jaromir Tarabus (Fabia R5) completes the provisional podium behind local driver Lambros Athanassoulas who is 20 seconds behind the Czech.

Kajetan Kajetanowicz (Fiesta R5) was one of the favorite contenders for victory, but the reigning champion went off the road on the first special and lost several tens of minutes.
