Guy Wilks signs with Peugeot in IRC

Guy Wilks and his co-driver Phil Pugh will no longer be aboard a Skoda Fabia S2000 next season in the IRC. The crew will present themselves at the 100th Rally Monte Carlo aboard a Peugeot 207 S2000 Kronos.

The former pilot of the J-WRC is eager to join the French manufacturer, although the Briton is grateful for the support of Skoda with whom he has played this season. “ We are very happy to join Peugeot UK for the 2011 IRC season. Leaving Skoda UK was a difficult decision to make and I am grateful for their support in 2010. »

« However, I couldn't resist the opportunity to drive the Peugeot 207 S2000 from the Kronos team. We are even more determined for 2011 and we can't wait to start the Monte Carlo. »

Jon Goodman, director of Peugeot UK, is also delighted with this agreement with the British crew. “ I am delighted to have Guy Wilks and Phil Pugh at Peugeot UK. We had a difficult season this year but I am convinced that we will return to winning ways with Kronos in 2011. »
