The Renault Clio R3T will make its track debut

Renault has completed development of the Clio R3T which will be intended for teams and private drivers. Built on the basis of the Clio RS 200 EDC touring model, the 1.6l turbo engine assembled by a partner from Losange has seen its power increased to 242hp for a torque of 480Nm. The new French bomb is shod with 17-inch tires on asphalt and 15 on dirt and benefits from exclusive front and rear axles with the installation of new Sachs shock absorbers settings and a multitude of adjustments available.

In addition, Renault Sport Technologies has also thought about cost control since each service will only take place after 4000km covered on special. The kit is composed of RS 200 EDC parts and specific elements. It is the second racing model to be based on the RS 200 EDC after the new Clio Cup.

The Clio R3T will make its first outing this weekend as a zero car. Jukka Korhonen and Marko Salminen have been selected to open the stages of the Rally from Scotland.
