Launch of the Clio Trophy by Toksport WRT

Renault Sport continues its establishment in the rally. After the launches of the Clio Trophy Belgium and the Clio Rally5 and Rally4, the Losange has confirmed that of the Clio Trophy by Toksport WRT.

This new competition is due to debut in 2021 and will take place over five events of theERC, the European rally championship. Participants will compete in the Clio Trophy by Toksport WRT at the wheel of Clio Rally5s with 12 tires per round, all supplied by Michelin.

Toksport WRT was the first organization to enter Clio Rally5 in the FIA ​​ERC and the idea of ​​a single-operator trophy on gravel and asphalt, complementary to the national trophies, quickly gained ground to offer a fair and affordable springboard for all drivers wishing to discover the championship ».

The winning driver after five rounds will be offered a three-round ERC program at the wheel of a Renault Clio Rally4.

Two events on gravel (Azores and Poland) and three on asphalt (Rome, Czech Republic and Hungary) are on the menu for this first edition of the Clio Trophy by Toksport WRT.
