Rally Estonia canceled in 2017

Le Rally of Estonia will not join the 2017 calendar of theERC. The organizers of the event have announced that the race will be paused next year to allow promoters to set new development objectives for the organization of motor events in the Baltic region.

“Rally Estonia has done a very good job in launching a local competition on an international level, commented the director of the tourism committee Tarmo Mutso. Unfortunately, the current situation is not enough to raise the event to a higher level. The reasons why things are this way are easy to find, we now need solutions. Next year will be a good opportunity for everyone to look back and come up with new ideas to have great sporting events in 2018.”

Rally Estonia has been on the ERC calendar since 2014.
