Monte-Carlo: Peugeot in force

Peugeot , after having scored a resounding hat-trick during the 2009 Monte-Carlo, wishes to leave its mark during the 2011 edition, for the centenary of the event. Bryan Bouffier, recent French Rally Champion, will be at the start of the opening event of the 2011 IRC at the wheel of the 207 Super 2000.

Stéphane Sarrazin, recent third in the Rally du Var, Peugeot endurance driver and regular at the start of the Monte-Carlo Rally, will also be an asset for Peugeot. But the French manufacturer wanted to strengthen itself further, by securing the services of a World Rally Champion, Petter Solberg, who was Citroën's ally in WRC this season.

These three drivers will defend the colors of Peugeot France, while Bruno Magalhaes will wear the colors of Peugeot Portugal, Guy Wilks will be supported by Peugeot UK and Thierry Neuville by Peugeot Belgium. With such committed drivers, there is no doubt that the French manufacturer wishes to leave its mark on the 100th anniversary of the Monte-Carlo Rally, by repeating the feat of the hat-trick achieved in 2009.
