Nikolay Gryazin leads in Poland

The first real stage of the Rajd Rzeszowski will have caused great damage to the European Rally Championship peloton ERC and it is finally Nikolay Gryazin (Skoda Fabia R5) who knew how to make the most of the pitfalls of the Polish event to take the lead this Saturday evening overall, just like in ERC U28.

Chris Ingram places his Skoda Fabia R5 in third position, but should not be able to claim victory on a regular basis, being relegated to 1'33”. Fabian Kreim (Skoda Fabia R5) and Mikolaj Marczyk (Skoda Fabia R5) complete the provisional top 5 of the event at 1'35" and 1'59".

Among the favorites, Alexey Lukyanuk (Ford Fiesta R5), who should take the European crown at the end of the season, made a mistake in SS3, and had to retire, just like Lukasz Pieniazek (Skoda Fabia R5).

The Frenchman Laurent Pellier (Peugeot 208 T16 R5) was forced to retire in SS6 due to a broken radiator. Six stages will be contested tomorrow Sunday on Polish soil.
