Peugeot delivers its 100th 208 Rally4

Whether in the context of brand cuts 208 Rally Cup or even on the front ofERC, 2020 will have allowed the new Peugeot 208 Rally4 to achieve clear commercial success. This is evidenced by this symbolic bar of 100 copies sold, one year after its launch, the last being shipped to Peru.

In a difficult context, marked in particular on the national level by numerous postponements and cancellations of rallies, the milestone is worth highlighting and logically satisfies the management of the Lion, one of the brands with M-Sport Ford (via the Fiesta Rally4), Renault (the Clio awaiting its approval in the coming days) and Opel (with the Corsa Rally4 cousin) involved in the category.

“Despite the cancellation of numerous events around the world, the drivers of the 208 Rally4 distinguished themselves in around twenty countries by taking victories and titles in two-wheel drive, highlights François Wales, director of Peugeot Sport.

We now look forward to seeing it evolve on new grounds thanks to the launch of new Cups across Europe and the world. »

In addition to France, Spain and Portugal, 2021 will see Belgium and Luxembourg (in a cup bringing together 208 and Corsa Rally4), Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Peru launch their version of the 208 Rally Cup, proof of the success outside Europe of Peugeot's latest model. 200 orders in total are currently listed by the French brand.
