Former Junior champion WRC 2016, the Romanian Simone Tempestini will line up in 2020 on a program of eight events in the European Rally Championship ERC.
The 25-year-old will aim for the ERC overall but also the ERC1 Junior classification this year, at the wheel of a car which, however, has yet to be determined.
Après avoir alterné entre la Citroën C3 R5 et l’Abarth 124 en 2018 sur la scène européenne et mondiale, Tempestini s’était recentré sur le championnat de Roumanie avec une Hyundai i20 R5, en plus d’une présence en WRC 2.
The opportunity in 2020 to put his name on the ERC prize list, having only achieved a best result of fifth place in the Rally Roma di Capitale in 2017.
