Skoda is not yet thinking about the title

At the top of the IRC manufacturers' ranking after the first round, Skoda fears that its lighter program will prevent it from fighting for the title, notably against Peugeot .

“This is only the first rally of the season, there is still a lot to do,” says a spokesperson. “Our goal is to be present in eight events and to fight as often as possible to get on the podium. »

If Skoda Motorsport will participate in eight events this season, the Fabia Super 2000 programs are expanding. Skoda UK has announced the presence of Guy Wilks in Brazil and Argentina and Skoda France plans to field Nicolas Vouilloz on “one or two other rallies”.
