This is called dominating from start to finish. Leading the general standings with a 1'44 lead over Georg Linnamäe and James Morgan (Volkswagen Polo GTI R5) on Saturday evening, Nil Solans and Marc Martí were not stopped in their tracks, not even by the problems encountered this Sunday during the two Sunday loops.
Solid leaders, the Spaniards let several seconds slip away this Sunday morning to return to the service park with a margin of 1'31 over their closest pursuers. This loss of time is notably due to a front bumper torn off during SS13, the last of the morning at Fafe.
Nil Solans and Marc Martí then thought they had gotten rid of this problem after returning to service at midday, but a new contact saw the bumper give way once again during SS14. Nothing too bad in the end for the two men from the land of Don Quixote who were going to perform on the last specials by even signing the 4e time of the Power Stage at the end of the event.
Not all plain sailing for @NilSolans as the Spaniard loses his front bumper again!

At the finish, the duo in the No. 5 Volkswagen Polo GTI R4 won with a nice lead of 55” over the local pair Armindo Araújo-Luís Ramalho (Skoda Fabia Rally7 Evo). Long 2e, Georg Linnamäe and James Morgan finally fell one place to finish just under a minute behind the winners.
