Wilks happy with his debut

Guy Wilks, winner with Skoda during the Rally of Scotland, last round of the 2009 IRC, started the new season with a sixth place during the Monte-Carlo Rally. If the performance is theoretically lower, the quality of the adversity was beyond measure and the terrain, constantly changing, represented an additional difficulty for the Briton.

From then on, the Skoda UK driver was satisfied with his sixth place in Monaco. “ It was a really tough but fantastic rally, says the Briton. Finishing in the points is therefore an excellent result. We stuck to our original plan of not taking any risks and racking up the miles on the car, and it paid off. We are now looking forward to being in Brazil and Argentina for the gravel events. »
