Sébastien Ogier returns to his 206th Youth Rally

Two days after taking another step towards an 8th world title in Greece, Sébastien Ogier landed at Clermont-Ferrand airport. Wearing a smile that did not leave him throughout the day of Wednesday, September 15, the Frenchman asked Julien Quinonero, the main organizer of this event: “Where do we start? ". The Hautes-Alpes pilot is not the hyper-active or thrill-seeking type. What matters most to him is to minimize the time away from his family. When he is traveling, everything is organized so that he is without his family for as long as possible and the planning for this day in Auvergne had been carefully calculated. After the interesting detour at Michelin Motorsport (see box), the delegation headed to 127, rue Docteur-Hospital, where the major subject justifying the presence of two world champions in Clermont was to take place. “It’s strange, I don’t recognize the neighborhood,” Sébastien was surprised when he arrived near the buildings of the Lycée Roger Claustres where many more recent housing units have replaced those built by Michelin.
