The Peugeot 908 HDi FAP were not at the party during this first hour of racing on the Road Atlanta circuit. The no. 07 of Pedro Lamy is fighting with Gil de Ferran (Acura no. 66) for third place, while the no. 08 of Stéphane Sarrazin is only sixth, after being overtaken by the Porche RS Spyder, car in the LMP2 category! At the head of the race, the two Audi R15 TDi took off, Allan McNish (n°02) having 25?? ahead of n°1. The Scotsman was also very close to taking a turn at Sarrazin?s 908 when the latter stopped.
