Alpine Europa Cup – Zandvoort: Wallgren leads EL1

At the start of the afternoon under the Zandvoort sun, Rodolphe Wallgren got his weekend off to a perfect start by Alpine Europa Cup. In 1'45″748, the Herrero Racing resident set the best time of the session. He is 164 thousandths ahead of Louis Méric (Race Cars Consulting). Lucas Frayssinet, who lost the lead in the championship at Magny-Cours, ranks 3rd (+0″271). 

Championship leader Simon Tirman (Autosport GP) follows in 4th position but is relegated to almost 8 tenths. The very successful rookie, Paul Cauhaupé, was more discreet. The Autosport GP driver is 7th, more than a second behind the leader. Among the gentlemen, the fastest time was achieved by Frédéric Roy (Chazel Technologie Course) in 1'47″431.
