Supercar – Yacco Trophy

With 27 Supercars present for the resumption, the French Championship of Rallycross Supercar continues its momentum in Mayenne! Like Kerlabo, Antoine Massé (Peugeot 208) confirms that he is comfortable underwater and in Dantean conditions. After setting the best time in free practice, he won in three of the four qualifying heats!

Second in the intermediate classification, Fabien Chanoine (Renault Clio) won his semi-final masterfully ahead of Fabien Pailler (Peugeot 208), always comfortable in these conditions.

Fred Makowiecki (DS 3), le pilote officiel Porsche en Endurance, who was surprising in his Rallycross debut since the start of the weekend (fourth in the intermediate classification), was trapped and had to stop there, just like Philippe Maloigne (Renault Clio – gearbox problem).

In the other semi-final, Antoine Massé and Samuel Peu (Peugeot 208) engage in a superb duel which will turn to the advantage of the Sarthois. Starting on the second row, Guerlain Chicherit (Renault Clio), second in the Championship, failed to qualify... A bad operation for the driver from Tignes with three races remaining.

If the show had been in full swing since Saturday morning, the Supercar final was going to increase the pressure once again! The eight pilots were wild! Second after the first corner, Antoine Massé managed an incredible overtake on Samuel Peu and flew towards his third victory of the season!

Samuel Peu, for his part, took a very nice silver medal after being the only one able to keep up with the pace of the Sarthois. Very nice podium also from Fabien Pailler (Peugeot 208), often hit by bad luck this season.
