Audi optimistic for Petit Le Mans

Although preceded by both Peugeot 908 in qualifying, the Audi team is optimistic heading into the 13th edition of the Petit Le Mans, as Ralf Jüttner confirms.

“I don't have much to say regarding the qualifications, except that Ben (Benoît Tréluyer, Editor's note) and Dindo (Capello, Editor's note) did a great job, explains Audi Sport Team Technical Director Joest. But my biggest compliments go to the teams of the two cars who worked in an extraordinary manner (notably that of the No. 7 which had to rebuild part of the car following an exit from the track during the last free practice session, Editor's note). The fact that the Peugeots are in front is not a big surprise. The gap is approximately what we expected. I am optimistic for the race. »
