The Audi R15 TDI from Audi Sport Team Joest was once again the fastest, during the third free practice session for the 8 Hours of Le Castellet, on the Paul Ricard circuit. In 1:42:053, the racing car from the Ingolstadt firm beat the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP from the Oreca team (1:42:904), which made a fast lap at the end of the session to slip in front of the Lola Aston Martin of Aston Martin Racing (1).
En LMP2, la HPD ARX-01c se place au sommet de la hiérarchie (1?45??878) devant la Lola HPD Coupé de RML (1?47??106).
