Button and Kovalainen team up for a new challenge

When the world of F1 finds himself in Extreme E! Former Grand Prix winners and even world champion for one, Jenson Button and Heikki Kovalainen will prove themselves in this 100% electric championship.
Boss of his own team in Extreme E, JBXE, the 1 F2009 world champion, decided to mark the occasion for this 3e season by convincing the Finn to join the adventure. Now closer and closer to the world of off-road, Heikki Kovalainen will be associated with the Norwegian Hedda Hosås.
Third in the first season before falling to 9e in 2022, Jenson Button's team hopes to bounce back this year thanks in particular to the experience of its new recruit. “ I am delighted to announce that Heikki is our new male driver and that Hedda continues with the team, welcomes Jenson Button. The arrival of such a well-known name in the world of motorsport and someone I had the pleasure of racing against in Formula 1 is a great thing for the team and the championship."
