Patrick Dempsey, actor and driver, finished the 24 Hours of Daytona third in the GT standings. The one who had not gone unnoticed by 24 Hours of Le Mans 2009 welcomes this result from Dempsey Racing (Joe Foster/Patrick Dempsey/Charles Espenlaub/Tom Long, Mazda RX-8). ?It?s important for our progress as a team. Joe has made enormous sacrifices professionally and personally to get here, as has Kirt (Wightman, engineer). They worked very hard with financial resources that were not those of the other teams.
