Mattias Ekström (Audi) was the fastest in free practice for the World RX in Mettet (Belgium). With a time of 38''349, the EKS Audi Sport boss-driver was 22 thousandths ahead of the Peugeot 208 WRX de Timmy Hansen. Timur Timerzyanov (Hyundai) a complété le Top 5 devant Sébastien Loeb (Peugeot).
The Renault Mégane from the GCKompetition structure were a little further behind since Jérôme Grosset-Janin set the 12th time while boss-driver Guerlain Chicherit ranked 14th. Francis Duval (Audi) and Grégoire Demoustier (Peugeot) completed the list.
