Bryan Bouffier (Peugeot) was closest to Thierry Neuville since he finished 1??1. Jan Kopecky (Skoda) lost further ground by failing 8??8 behind the first stage.
The positions do not change at the top of the rally of Sanremo but the gaps are still narrowing. Andreas Mikkelsen only has a 1??3 lead over Freddy Loix while Thierry Neuville is 3??6 behind his compatriot. Bryan Bouffier follows the pace of the Belgian (+5??1) while Jan Kopecky secures his fifth place (+33??2).
