Sébastien Ogier (Peugeot 207 Super 2000) moved to third position in the Rally Monte-Carlo thanks to his time in SS9, thus overtaking Nicolas Vouilloz (Skoda Fabia S2000) in the general classification. The 2009 Monte-Carlo winner set the best time of the special, ahead of Juho Hänninen (Skoda Fabia S2000) by 9??2, and Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000) by 11??1. There is still one stage to go, SS10, at the start of the evening.
