Having reached the end of his third term at the head of the Fia, Jean Todt will hand over the keys to the house on December 3 at the General Assembly where the new president will be elected.
For these elections, two candidates are in the running to succeed Jean Todt: Mohammed Ben Sulayem and Graham Stoker. As stipulated in the FIA Statutes and Internal Regulations, both must “ file with the FIA Administration a complete list including the 10 names of candidates for the positions of Vice-President for Automobile Mobility and Tourism, Vice-President for Sport, President of the Senate as well as for the positions of Vice-President for Sport."
Two lists whose eligibility has been confirmed by the FIA Nominations Committee » have been filed and will be studied before the final verdict on December 17.
