The former Ford and Citroën driver in the World Rally Championship (WRC) François Duval will perform a freelance during the French Championship event of rallycross in Châteauroux (Indre) on May 4 and 5. The Belgian will operate aboard a Peugeot 208 WRX from the Pailler Compétition team.
The Breton team will hire a second Peugeot to Jonathan Pailler. « It’s a real pleasure to be able to start this 2019 season alongside a driver as charismatic as François Duval. Especially since I will find in Châteauroux a circuit on which I scored my first career podium in the ranks of the premier Supercar category, underlines Jonathan Pailler.
This offseason allowed us to carefully prepare for upcoming deadlines. We come out of a test session on the Lohéac circuit which allowed us to continue our discovery of these Peugeot 208s. Suffice it to say that our decline on these cars is now much more obvious than it was last year and we are ready to exploit the potential of these cars with a very precise reading. »
