Despite its abandonment Rally from the Azores, Bruno Magalhaes remains optimistic for the next rally contested this week in Hungary. The pilot of the Peugeot 207 S2000 is relying on these recent performances in Ypres to hope for a good result after missing the Barum Rally.

“I am happy to return to IRC”, comments the Portuguese. “I feel really confident after the pace shown in Ypres and I really want to repeat it here. We have had some bad luck this season but I think we can get a good result in an event which will be new for everyone. Carlos (Barros, the driver's manager) told me that the stages were fast with variable grip depending on the route. But it will only be when I have discovered the roads for myself that I will understand the extent of the challenge. »
