Kris Meeke (Peugeot 207 S2000) will not win its second rally IRC in Ypres this season. The Northern Irishman, already the author of several retirements this year, went off the road on SS8, the second special stage of the second day of the Ypres Rally. The Peugeot UK driver rolled over and therefore retired, although he was in second place in the event. Kris Meeke and his co-driver, Paul Nagle, were unhurt, but the car was badly damaged.

Freddy Loix (Peugeot 207 S2000) is still the leader of the Ypres Rally and is now ahead of Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia S2000) by thirty seconds.
