Johan Kristoffersson finished at the top of the standings after the three qualifying sessions and will fight for a place in the final this Saturday afternoon. The Swede beat his compatriots Mattias Ekström and Anton Marklund. 2019 world champion Timmy Hansen will also be there. He finished these qualifying rounds in 4th place at the wheel of his Peugeot 208 WRX.
Niclas Grönholm, Timo Scheider, Krisztian Szabo and Sebastian Eriksson also earned their ticket to the semi-finals of this first day of the 2020 World RX season in Höljes.
Guerlain Chicherit will not see the semi-finals. In difficulty this Saturday morning in Höljes, the Frenchman could not do better than 16th position in the final table and will therefore not be able to be in the battle for the final.
Another surprise, the elimination of Andreas Bakkerud. The 2019 runner-up finished 13th, tied on points with Timur Timerzyanov, but the Russian qualified thanks to a better result in Q3.
