The leaders of the NASCAR have officially decided to replace the rear wing of Sprint Cup Series cars with a spoiler, starting at the Martinsville race on March 28. This choice is dictated by the (short) length of the circuit, on which the aerodynamic load will have less influence on performance. The spoiler will be tested next Tuesday and Wednesday in Charlotte.
