The Oreca Matmut team continues its learning of Peugeot 908 HDi FAP and its preparation for 24 Hours of Le Mans. This weekend, Hugues de Chaunac's team is at Spa-Francorchamps for the second round of the Le Mans Series. During qualifying, Nicolas lapierre managed to place the No. 4 car on the fourth place on the starting grid. A result which does not fully satisfy the French driver.

“I think I could have done better than this fourth time, says Lapierre. I took the option of leaving a little later, but I encountered a lot of traffic. That being said, the ranking proves that we are in the game. The weather conditions often changed during testing and this represents an unknown for the race. The choice of rubber could also be important. This parameter will have to be managed carefully, just like the strategy. We are well positioned. We must remain so for the duration of the ordeal.”
