The FIA World Council has validated the name change of the car categories of rallycross from 2021, including the new electric series. They will apply to all FIA-labelled championships.
For better readability, the Supercars will become RX1, the electric Supercars will be called RX1e, the Junior eRX will go to RX2e and the Super1600 will be called RX.
