Greg Pickett still convalescing following his Mid-Ohio accident, the Cytosport team had to find two drivers to support Klaus Graf at Petit Le Mans. Finally, it is Sacha Maassen, already present twice this season, and Lucas Luhr, who will join the usual German driver in Georgia. For the occasion, Luhr will return to a car behind the wheel of which he was crowned LMP2 champion in 2006 in the American Le Mans Series, already with Sacha Maassen.

As we saw during the season, the team did a great job, as evidenced by their victories. It will be a pleasure to ride for them. It?s nice to be able to drive the RS Spyder again. I drove it for its first race at Laguna Seca with Sacha and then we won the championship the following season. So I have very good memories behind the wheel. Driving it again is really great, especially on one of the best, if not the best, tracks in the United States.
