The legendary Lydden Hill complex in England, home of rallycross but which lost the World RX in recent years to Silverstone, wishes to launch a diversification of its activities to overcome the restriction of meetings linked to motorsport, capped at 52 days per year.

The circuit management will therefore ask Dover District Council for an extension of its prerogatives, in order to be able to be active in “non-noisy” events such as cycling, business activities, etc.

Lydden Hill management is also targeting an investment of £5,5 million (a little over €6,12 million) to notably construct a new building to accommodate offices, medical and media centers and implementation. place of a new access road.

Lydden Hill is counting on an increase in attendance of up to 89 people (currently motorsport brings 000 people on site), and job creation of around 50 new positions.
