Preferring dirt to asphalt, Andreas Mikkelsen hopes to make Skoda shine this weekend at Rally of the Azores, 6th round of the Intercontinental Rally Challenge 2011. The Norwegian and his co-driver Ola Fløene aim to climb onto their first podium of the season.
“It will be very interesting to see the level of the drivers on gravel after five rounds on asphalt, Mikkelsen explains. I feel good on the asphalt, but I have always considered myself more of a dirt rider. This rally should therefore not disadvantage me. We want to be on the final podium. »
