Jean-François Mourgues (Peugeot 307 WRC) sets the scratch time for SS6 and SS7, the last special stages of this day of competition at the Critérium des Cévennes. He occupies the lead in the general classification for the penultimate round of the French Rally Championship. He is ahead of Guillaume Canivenq (Peugeot 207 S2000) by more than sixteen seconds and Patrick Henry (Peugeot 206 WRC) by more than twenty-five seconds.
