Former motocross rider Oliver Bennett will be entered in a Mini prepared by Simpson Motorsport and fielded by Xite Racing. Coming from the British Championship with a Ford Fiesta Supercar last year, he made his debut at world level at Lydden Hill, taking only 23rd place in the general classification.
“We plan to do all the European events with the American round in Texas (in Austin on the weekend of September 30),” said Oliver Bennett.
