Supported by Olivier Panis and Stéphane Sarrazin, Nicolas lapierre will participate this weekend in the 8 Hours of Le Castellet at the wheel of the Peugeot 908 from the Oreca team. And even if the primary objective is to prepare the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the trio will do everything possible to win this opening round of the Le Mans Series:
“For these 8 Hours of Le Castellet, we will have a double objective, says Nicolas Lapierre. Continue our preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and join the fight for victory. The ideal would be to kill two birds with one stone as they say. We know it won't be easy. On the one hand, we continue to learn about the Peugeot. On the other hand, the field is of quality, with the Audi R15 “plus” of course, entrusted to fast and experienced drivers. But we must not forget the ORECA 01, the various Lolas, whether they are motorized Aston Martin or Rebellion. I will look with a little more attention at the ORECA 01, whose qualities I know.
