While the hypothesis had flourished this summer, Citroën will not field a DS3 S2000 in the Rally of Monte-Carlo, at the opening of the next season, as AUTOhebdo states in its columns. The development of a model adapted to the 1600cm3 turbo engine for 2011 is the option chosen by the French team, which does not wish to concentrate on a 2-liter naturally aspirated engine with a limited lifespan. Olivier Quesnel confirmed at the start of the Australian Rally that the DS3 was 90% ready.
