Third of the last 24 Hours of Le Mans in the LMP2 category with RML, Andy Wallace will participate this weekend in the 13th edition of Petit Le Mans. The Briton will share the wheel of a Jaguar RSR with his former Dyson Racing teammate Butch Leitzinger, as well as Tony Drissi.

“To be behind the wheel of a Jaguar, and to drive for the brand again after all these years, it’s really going to be special” explains the Oxford native.

Andy Wallace is indeed a driver who has marked the history of the British brand since he won the 24 1988 Hours of Le Mans at the wheel of an XJR9 before triumphing two years later at the 24 Hours of Daytona aboard an XJR12 . The Rocket Sport team will be able to benefit from all the experience of the 49-year-old driver to improve their car. But even with this added weight, it will be very difficult to tease the Ferrari, Porsche, BMW et autres Corvette.
