Proton, which will make its appearance this season in IRC from rally d?Ypres, announced that he was still interested in entering WRC. Chris Mellors, the team director, told Autosport that he was waiting for the technical regulations to be clarified before making a decision. For now, Proton will therefore enter a Satria Neo S2000 with Guy Wilks at the wheel for the remainder of the IRC season.
