First event of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship, the Rally Terre de Provence will take place without the first two in the 2008 championship ranking, Thomas Privé and Emmanuel Guigou.
The reigning French Champion will be at the start of the Rally of Portugal in the World Championship while Emmanuel Guigou, vice Champion of France and winner of the 2 Wheel Drive Trophy, wishes to line up on asphalt this season.
