Samuel Peu (Peugeot 207 " WRC ") won the opening event of the French championship on Sunday rallycross 2011, ahead of Jérôme Grosset-Janin (Renault Clio RS “WRC”) and Mickaël Poirier (BMW Series 1). In the Citroën Xsara “WRC” of outgoing champion Davy Jeanney, Timmy Hansen, the son of multiple European champion Kenneth Hansen, finished 8th.
Crowned last year, Steven Bossard (Citroën C2) dominated the D1A race; Marc Morize (Peugeot 207 T3F) won in D3 and Yvonnick Jagu (Audi A3) in D4.
Next round in Faleyras, May 7-8.
