The Pole Michal Solowow (Peugeot 207 Super 2000) took advantage of the exit of the Italian Luca Betti (Peugeot 207 Super 2000) during the second day to win the Istanbul Rally, second event of the European Rally Championship.
Thanks to these fifteen points, Solowow takes the lead in the championship with a six point lead over the Italian Giandomenico Basso.
