Audi got off to a bad start at the 1000 km of Spa-Francorchamps as the No. 15 R8 Plus of Andre Lotterer made a mistake on the formation lap, hitting the circuit protections. She was able to enter her stand while, in this same formation lap, the Peugeot Oreca spun but without damage. She is currently second.
The #29 Lola-Judd Racing Box having hit the Raidillon during the first lap, the safety car is out and a new start will be given. Strakka Racing's Acura LMP2, damaged during the Warm Up, left the pits. As for the No. 908 Peugeot 3 HDi FAP of Pedro Lamy, it occupies ninth place, after a mistake by the Portuguese. Franck Montagny (Peugeot 908 HDi FAP) is in the lead.
